"The story drew me and wouldn't let go. I thought I understood the difficulty of being a celebrity, but I never really grasped how much of a toll it would take on the loved ones of a celebrity... the sacrifices they would have to make. I am keeping this review brief, because I don't want to give anything away. I will say, days later the ending is still haunting me."

"Karen Pokras Toz does a fantastic job of sucking the reader right into Julia’s psyche allowing you more than to peek at her pain. At times her need to be invisible is so visceral that I had to take a few moments away from the story to gather my bearings. With an ending you won’t see coming, Pokras Toz has a winner on her hands with the compelling tale of Julia and Chase."

"I enjoyed this novel. Julia is a likable character surrounded by good friends I wouldn’t mind hanging out with myself. The struggles she goes through to keep her children’s lives private will resonate with any parent, and I gasped out loud at times reading about the horrifically unkind judgments passed on everything about her. I cannot imagine what it must be like for today’s celebrities that have to survive that kind of scrutiny. While this is an adult novel, I can’t help but think it would jump start a dialogue with teenagers about what they say about others on Facebook, Twitter, etc., and the harmful impact it could have. This novel has a heck of a twist at the end, which is just icing on a great piece of cake!" - Muddy Kinzer, Muddying the Waters
"I greatly enjoyed the story, and I even enjoyed the dialog, which is difficult for an author to write, and Karen tackled it beautifully! There are moments you will certainly be happy, sad, and...yes even tears will flow-and that is when you know-the book is incredible! 5 stars, and more!" - Candice Simpson, Lubs Book Chatter
"Words can not describe how amazing I found this book. I ate it up, reading through the whole thing and coming back to re-read. The reader just needs to know what happens to Julia. The author has a great way of writing and pulling the reader in. A true 5 star book, if not more. Amazing!!"- Melissa Ringsted
"I hope that Karen Pokras Toz plans to write more novels for adults. Chasing Invisible is a strong adult debut for the author who is already well-known for her middle grade books." - Angela Donner, Library Girl Reads
"Chasing Invisible is a story that will tug at your heart, and take you for a memorable ride, one you’ll never forget by the time you get to the very end. It’s a book I enjoyed immensely, and will definitely read again soon." - Lissette E.Manning
