Hey everyone - Happy Holidays!!! Sorry I haven't been around much, but as you know, we don't have school this week - and well - I think I may just be having the best week EVER. Let me back up for a minute, because it all started last Friday on our last day of school before our winter break. I was packing up my book bag, getting ready to head out to the bus, when all of a sudden, I felt a hand on my arm. Figuring it was Natalie, I spun around with the goofiest "we're free!" look I could think of - yup - eyes crossed and tongue hanging out. Except it wasn't Natalie. It was Jordan - you know - THE cutest boy in the entire sixth grade? I know - smooth, right? Well we're kind of friends now, but hadn't really seen each other much since that whole Amanda thing (yup - you're going to have to read the book for that one - it's just too much to explain here.)
Anyway, he was all - maybe I'll see you over break, and I was all - um - I think you call it hyperventilating? Yes - that's it. Will I ever get used to the fact that Jordan is my friend now? Luckily Natalie came walking up just as I was trying to catch my breath. We never did make any plans, but it didn't matter - it was the fact that he wanted to make plans that mattered. Trust me, it's a girl thing.
Anyway - that was just the best start to my vacation! The next few days I spent hanging out with Natalie. We went to the movies and the mall and of course exchanged Christmas presents. I got her more nail polish to add to the 10,000 bottles she already has, and she got me a t-shirt that says "I <3 Blogging." Christmas Day was fun, too. Grandma came over, and then we went over to my cousin's house.
Oh - did I mention that Santa stopped by too? Yup - he brought me one of those Kindle thingies. It's so cool - Can you guess what book I downloaded first? Anyway - I told you Santa is real! Puh-lease!
I can't believe winter break is almost over. It's going by sooo fast. I'm getting ready to head over to Natalie's house in a few minutes. She got a bunch of new CDs and we're going to make a music video. She wants me to post it here on my blog. Like that will ever happen. NOT. Somethings are just meant to be private. You know?
So I gotta run. I hope you all are having a great holiday week too! Oh and if I don't talk to you before Tuesday, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Until next time - - Millie
Hi - I'm Millie. Well, Millicent Marie really, but you can call me Millie. I'm twelve years old. This is my blog. I hope you like it. Tell all your friends, but don't gossip, because gossiping is wrong. So is bullying. I know this for a fact. If you want to know how I know, read my book. Thanks for stopping by!
